The World of Plants
a series of six works inspired by the life of plants in the tropics
The micro / macro views reflected in the individual works offer an insight into the intriguing
and mystifying plant world.
Inflorescence-inspired macro views are the spectacular Tiger Orchid (grammatophyllum
speciosum) - the largest orchid in the world, and the Rafflesia (rafflesia arnoldi)
– the largest single flower in the world.
These contrast dramatically with views of microscopic elements which are transformed to
new dimensions.
